Hey guys,

So I'm just looking around under the hood and had a couple questions.   The first picture I believe is a ported vacuum switch with all three hoses cut.  I'm assuming this was just an emissions deal and no big worry.  Not even sure where the hoses would of ran.  Any thoughts?

The second picture is a part on my firewall.  It has two spots for hoses, bottom one says carb and top one says Dist.  What is it and should I be concerned with no hoses connected??

Thank you in advance for any help.

What car are we looking at in the pictures?  Year, model, etc.

The bottom picture is the OSAC valve. It controls the vacuum sent to the advance pot on the distributor. Was to aid in control of Nitrogen oxides. You probably get better advance action during idle to part throttle operation without the OSAC valve

That is my car in my avatar Luke.  As soon as I get it running and out of the garage and in some better light I'll get more pictures uploaded.

That what very interesting.  Would love to chat sometime about it.  Like where did you find the hose?  Did you use correct colors or just run black vacuum hose?  I was wondering what the deal was at my radiator.  (also with no hoses attached)  Could you upload some pictures of your engine bay showing the routing of the hoses?

I have an OSAC valve and the charcoal canister if you need those parts.
