I just wanted to post this up, this is why we love cars. Some of you have helped me/us to this moment. Over the past 10 years or so my Father and I have restored this car and finally last weekend we were able to enter our first show. It was a small one but still over 100 cars. The charger showed well, WE WON BEST IN SHOW!!!! Also tied for second in peoples choice!!!!  THANK ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a truly amazing experience. To see a 65 year old man (who is tough as nails, didn't cry or flinch when he took his thumb almost completely off with a table saw.) moved damn near to tears of joy. Not because of a trophy, but a culmination of years or blood, sweat, tears, and a bond love and work brought to fruition in a single event. I want you all to share in this too, as I said many times we came to this very site for help in tricky situations. Thank you all again for your help. More great experiences to come and I will happily share those as well.  :yesnod:

Dino

Awesome!  It would've been worth it even if the car placed last.  The car was a tool for the real worthwhile work.   :2thumbs:

Got more pics of that ride?  Looks sweet!
