Got a bad lifter on a new build.  How do I get a new valley pan under the heads?  Used the 440 source one before but ripped it out and not sure how to get a new one back in.

Thanks

Valley pan UNDER the heads? Only way i know of that is if you have indy heads on it, which means 1 head has to come off. All stock heads use the tin tray which only the intake comes off.

I have 440 source heads...so I can only use the "Under the head" tray?

Thanks

Im confused. The 440 source heads should be based off of stock castings which do not use the indy valley pan. Please post a picture of your setup.

You don't.  It was never "under" the head.  Use a regular valley pan gasket.

my 440 source superstealth heads & their valley pan go under the heads. if you have stock port heads you can use a stock valley pan with 440 source heads.

While i have never had my hands on the super stealths, their website states that they too use a stock valley pan. So im curious to see a picture of the different valley pan and how it mounts.

the only reason i used their valley pan was because when I ported my heads I raised the port roof , very close to max wedge size.
