Temperature Control Cable

I am in the process of rebuilding my dash.  I need the temp cable that runs from the A/C controls in the dash to the heater valve on the firewall.  I can only find the cable for the Non A/C cars.  Does anybody know where I can find the cable for A/C cars?  Or will the non A/C version work?  The non A/C version is little over 40 inches long, but I don't think the cable for the A/C cars was that long.  From what it appears, both ends of the non A/C version are correct with the round loops.

From what I can see, the cable is 2809041. Looks to have been superseded to a generic number that was universal for most Mopar's 65-75.
And it looks from the parts book to be the same A/C or non.
Same for A, B and C body.

The correct cable for that position of the A/C system is the one with the turnbuckle like is listed in the link ODZ supplied (which BTW is a good price if correct)

That cable with the turnbuckle adjuster is the correct style cable you need but it was used on A and B-Body, possibly some C-Bodies. There is no way to tell just by the Chrysler part number if you are getting the correct cable then even because the cable with the turnbuckle was actually part numbered in the book as part of and included with the switch for A/C so if there is a length difference between the different models you would not know by just the part number for sure. Chrysler listed a lot of cables with the same part number that where made in different lengths and designs and will never fit or function correctly just by part numbers in many applications. They will be either way to long and bind on routing or be to short also could have incorrect cable outer covering lengths or end configuration that would render them not servicing correctly. I do have 2 of those turnbuckle cables both the same length but i am not sure if they are A or B for sure, maybe they are the same length for either application some one else may know. Thank you for the information guys. I took one off of a 67 wagon my family has, but it broke in half during removal.  It had the cable tensioner on it as well.  I'm interested in the spare.
