If y'all had to use a small block to make a quick street car, which......induction device would you use? a roots-style supercharger or a single turbo?
let's say in this instance the only thing you had to use was a 318, with a set of the "replacement LA heads" (magnums with the old bolt patterns for the '67-'91 small blocks) and what kind of stroker setup would you use?

Quick and esay why not some nitros.  Turbo could be kept under the hood.   I supercharger well with a ROOTS type you will not be hiding anything.  Depends on what look you want and what optioins you want.

I would actually go with a centrifugal style SC   ---   A guy in the car club has this in a 71 Challenger...
1968 Dodge Charger - 6.1L Hemi / 6-speed / 3.55 Sure Grip

2013 Dodge Challenger R/T - 5.7L Hemi / 6-speed / 3.73 Limited Slip

1964 Dodge Polara 500 - 440 / 4-speed / 3.91 Sure Grip

1973 Dodge Challenger Rallye - 340 / A-518 / 3.23 Sure Grip

definately not nitrous, I've heard bad things about nitrous...

I'm gonna be honest with y'all, I'm keeping my lebaron to use for drifting, but I'm gonna be needing good midrange power with the hp around the 600 mark, and hopefully more torque than that.  I was really dwelling on the roots-style for the intimidating look and how fast the power would kick in.

Well if you need low to mid range I would do the roots.  You can have power almost immediately.  And cam and set the boost for the application.  I would go with the ROOTS..... But I am biased  :icon_smile_big:

is there a company that makes a low profile roots blower for the small blocks?  I read awhile back in MCG that a company in Australia was making one for the 426...

Whipple makes a low pro screw blower but I can`t recommend them as they are swedish & will not sell any service parts so if you damage the blower the whole blower has to be repaired , they also repair your wallet at the same time :icon_smile_dead:
