Who can spot the fender tag error on this one first?

Yeah, RM23 ... the description says RS.  RM23 I believe is Roadrunner hardtop.

Nice job with the quarter panel seam and they couldn't have removed 3 screws to remove the strike plate?    ::)

It's a bogus tag to begin with and a good example of WHY you do not use anything other than original tags to have a tag remade.

Even with good intentions, people 'guess' and 'add things'. Somebody paid good money for a bad tag. Somebody, somewhere down the line gets burned.

Was it originally an A32 car? The evidence says no....

The gasked right above the striker in the picture was also masked for sure...... it takes longer to mask then it does to remove the 4 screws......
Greetings from Belgium, the beer country

NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...

I also just noticed that the upper door pad is supposed to wrap around the sheetmetal, not sit on top of it.  :yesnod:

So on top of the RM (Road Runner) vs RS (GTX) conflict. The tag also shows an L for the engine code which is a 440 IIRC. No Roadrunners were built with a 440  except for the 6 barrel cars which were coded differently anyways. The car is probably a real GTX but has a repro fender tag that is way off.

Yes, the E86 in the parts book shows 440 4bbl A134.   :shruggy:

If not for the RM vs RS error in the tag, it would be a legitimate coding for a GTX....

However....A32 = PDB and 26" radiator.
SPD is suspect too.

Bogus tag.
