:iagree: , I just can't stand him. I mean, why would you purposely wreck somebody at 200mph?

That stinks. I am not a big Kurt Busch fan. Plus, I think he showed how much of a wuss he was when Jimmy Spencer clocked him for the 200 mph incident and the whiner wanted to press charges. What a wuss.

Penske owns a gazillion Toyota dealerships and he runs Toyota motors in the IRL. Toyota will probably run the Busch series next year and Cup in 2-3 years. Do the math.

A friend of mine works with one of the Toyota truck teams. He said Toyota expects to win a Cup Championship within 3-4 years after entering Cup racing. They spent over $250,000.  building a acrylic/clear carburetor so they could study the gas/air flow. They will throw as much money as it takes to buy... I mean win a championship.

I can't imagine them jumping to cup for about a decade.  Hell their "trucks" don't run worth a crap, why would you jump to more competitve series when you can't win in the lower ones.  I love truck racing more than any other nascar event and when I hear talk of toyota in cup it really doesn't bother me too much.  Toyota was really putting a lot of pressure on DW and other toyota teams to get a win.  When you win a couple races in a couple years you really are not that competitve.  If you look at the standings one toyota is in the top 10.  If you're challenging for a win on many occasions but can't quite pull it off, that's different.  You're competitve but just need a little luck.  Toyota is garbage. :patriot:

As for Kurt Busch, why does everyone hate him so much?  He talks funny and looks funny but he can wheel a car.  I like Kurt a whole lot more than I like Dale jr.  With Kurt going to Penske he will win at least one more championship.  Penske and Hendrick will be the teams to beat in the near future.  My prediction, Rusty or Ryan will win the Championship this year.
When I was just a very young lad I looked up and told my dad, a bareback rider's what I wanna be.  I want the whole world to know about me.  In the rodeo arena I'll make my stand.  I wanna be a rodeo man.  I'll come flyin' from the chute with my spurs up high, chaps and boots reachin' for the sky.  Spurin' wild with my head throwed back, you'll ask 'Who's that,' well that's Bareback Jack.  You'll ask 'Who's that,' well that's Bareback Jack.

I remember not to long when he won at Bristol.................the whole crowd boo'd him when he got out of the car in victory lane. He pushed someone out of the way for the win because he could not pass them cleanly.(and he was on probation too I think!).  Kinda reminds of Dale Jr intentional caution he created at Bristol too (spun himself out............and admitted it) "What was I supposed to do, go a lap down?"

Heaven forbid Dale. ::)

Jack Rousch must be crapping right now.  With Martin retiring, Beaver, er, Pussy.... I mean Busch going to Penske, and talk of Kenseth moving.  Good thing The Biff is running well.  I'm glad the Beaver and Newman are teammates, I can right off the whole Penske bunch.

Now if Hendrick would just get rid of that punk Kyle, we'd be in business.

As far as drivers go, My wife and I support "Jr" & Tony Stewart. As far as the car, you guys are right, they should have just called it a Magnum, not a Charger.    What a Discrace :rotz:

Ok he bumped a guy out of the way to win.  I don't like it either.  Anyone see what happened to Mike Bliss at the Winston Open?  There isn't a huge backlash against Vickers.  What irritates me the most is Dale Sr. was probably the dirtiest driver I've ever seen and fans loved him for it.  Now a guy comes along that does the same once in a while and he is chastised for it.  Sr. once said that "they wouldn't call'em bumpers if you werent 'sposed to use'em that way."  I know Busch used to run his mouth a lot.  Whether you agreed or disagreed with what he said it was coming from his gut.  It wasn't some politically correct answer.  I guess I'm just used to the dirt track mentality where if you don't like something or someone you make it known, not keep it to yourself.
