I have a chance to trade all the air conditioning stuff out of my 67 Coronet. complete dash, heater box, compressor, lines brackets, you name it everthing to make a non air car into an air car.  I dont need the stuff but I also dont need the two 4-speeds eithier but they would be easier to store..    Here are my questions  one trans is a B- body68/69  only one shifter mounting pad   the other in a B-body earlier style with the trunion style tail shaft.

1. what would it take to convert the trunion style one to a regular style tailshaft?
2. If these transmissions are in good rebuildable shape what do you think they a worth conservativly.

They are worth what someone is willing to pay. Hard to put a number on it. Fwiw, the last 2 i bought i paidd 200 for 1 and 150 for the other. The ball and trunion is probably not worth much unless you find someone looking for an exact resto. As far as i recall, you need a new tail housing and shaft to convert.

thanks coonhunterjoe I appreciate the input. Maybe Ill just trade for the 68 trans.

Is that 150 for a ball and trunnion four speed or a "regular" one?  Because those are great prices for an 833.

I was hoping to trade one of the transmissions for a 3:91 or 4.10 center section. probably easier to trade for that than trading air conditioning.
