Back in 2010 I was emailed inquiring if I owned A 1969 Hemi RR RM23J9A181460 which in fact I did. Apparently during a Vehicle (Dodge Charger) inspection being done it was found that the VIN stamped on the HEMI engine that was in the charger was in fact the one for my CAR!!!  I was some what excited to find this out but the info on where it was or who owned it with contact info was never passed on to me. SOOOO I thought I would post here hoping that the CHARGER owner with a HEMI engine in their car with the VIN RM23J9A181460 is a member.
The Roadrunner I own was out of OREGON so I assume this engine is somewhere on WEST Coast.

I think it's time to report the engine and transmission stolen...

Then go to that Atlas place and get them.  :scratchchin:

It's going to cost a lot of jack to get back though.

I just came up with a plan. Build up a nice hemi and Trans to stock specs, grab five buddies. Then take the Charger on a long test drive.

It's not the original engine in the Charger so why not offer up a crate HEMI and $$ to swap it out to get your engine back.   Seems like a good deal for both sides but you never know. Not everyone is in it for the love...

Cool! Keep us updated. It's always exciting to see the reunion of a mopar and its engine.

Pretty cool that the whereabouts of the original drive train is known.   :2thumbs:

One thing I would keep in mind if some kind of deal can be made is that you just don't know the condition of the original motor & trans. I'd still pursue it but it may have been driven really hard over the years.  :Twocents:
