Lots of variables and little information provided....we need a better description  :yesnod:

- No pinion snubber : is there a pinion snubber mount on the carrier or is there not ? Is just the snubber missing ? It makes a difference....Chrysler passenger car Dana Housings came with a pinion snubber mount. Ford Truck Dana's have no pinion snubber mount so there is a difference  :yesnod:

- 4.10 gears is good but is it an open rear or is there a suregrip unit ? If so, is it a power loc or trac loc ? If the SG is present does it need a rebuild ? How about the side gears and beariings ?

- Ends cut off is no big deal as long as the axle tubes aren't too short for the application. If you have to retube it the costs will add up. New ends are easy to weld up.

- Good axles run approx. $300-$350 last time I looked.

- If this has no spring perches they will need new ones welded on. If the perches are in the wrong location for your application they will have to cut off and new ones welded on.

Lots of variables and potential costs to consider....before placing a value on it  ;)

The length will be the determining factor in value here. Im going to venture to say its been cut too short. If so, walk away, go to a junkyard and yank one out of a truck to build. I paid a case of beer for my truck housing.

The "no snubber" is the big issue. If it's just a truck Dana it isn't worth much more than $150 complete.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Flange to flange on 68-70 b bodies is 54 15/16, so if its a grue mopar rear with the snubber mounts, then the price is right. If its a truck rear, i would pay no more then 50 bucks for it. The length is close enough to work for you since it would have to be trimmed a little more before welding ends on.

If it's 55" with the ends cut off and a pair of ends are 5 1/2" the bare housing would have to be over 60" wide. No passenger car Dana was ever that wide.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
