The cars a 73 se and I'm thinking of doing power windows, speakers, door panels, tints, paint job :icon_smile_big:, so how do you take the exterior moulding off the top of the door and how do you take the windows out of the doors?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Andrew

Once you removed interior trim, first you need take out the glass. Glass is supported directly on to channel with big phillips screws with fasteners mounted on glass itself. You will find on door inner pannel several holes that matches with glass/channel screws to get access directly to screws rolling up and down the regulator. Maybe you will neeed some penetrating oil to release screws from fasteners.

Also need to remove a pair of "stoppers" studs attached on glass to be able tor remove glass by top of door

After remove glass you will get easier acces to remove weatherstrip, and behind this, the top of door molding, both with phillips selftaping screws
