Hey guys I am having my 440 rebuilt. Nothing to crazy, new Icon forged pistons, comp cams 21-224-4 (274 Extreme energy), and other basic bolt-ons.

My question is can I just keep the stock oil pump or should I stop being cheap and buy new one ! I don't think the setup requires a HV or HP pump.

Because new oil pump quality is poor, and the pump is so easy to change, maybe start with the one you have, and if you are not satisfied with the pressure, replace with new.

FWIW, I buy used oil pumps.
