I got a 1970 Cuda with a Dana 60 (not original to the car) and I want to install that on my 1970 Charger. Is that possible or is it wider?

I think the E body rear is an 1" wider then the B body rear and the spring perches are also different.

:iagree: E-Body guys use B-Body rear since it is more narrow as a way to get wider tires on, so I don't think it is going to work for you.

The E-body rear end is 1 1/2" wider overall than the '68-'70 B-body and the spring perch centers are 2" wider.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

I think  :iagree: CDR saying to take measurements is the only way to go since you don't know where it came from to begin with.   :popcrn:

Oh Just get under car and saw it was a aftermarket-Dana 60. Says DTS Custom (iowa) I guess. So it's a custom axle.

Which brings you back to CDR's suggestion to measure it.  Even if you can find out what DTS did to it, you don't know what else could have been done after them.  Someone obviously had no problem modifying it. The old addage "measure twice, cut once applies" or in ths case "measure twice, install once". :Twocents:
