Vinyl top Rear drip rail Corner End Moldings

HI!

I wonder if the vinyl top shall be installed in a special way by the drop rail Rear Corner End Moldings?
Isnt it very ofter the car leaks water there?

Any picture mabey?

 no that's how it is   , install vinyl top , fit belt moulding trim , the factory way was very crude imo  ,

Mabey some sealer before the corner molding are fitted?

I used strip caulk on my molding studs.   Sealed up real nice with the speed nuts

Are you talking about the back of the curve? Yes that is a very poor area as far as being sealed right.  I suppose you could push sealer in there and touch up the color to match the vinyl top.

was going to use calking  my self ! , decided against is  , got a couple of reasons ,  besides  my car never goes out in the rain & never gets washed
