How does this wire to the Neutral Safety Switch? I know that it goes from the starter relay to the NSS but where does that connect to the shifter and the light on the shifter?

What year? If '69 or later, no need to change the factory wiring...the NSS and BU light wiring works with any shifter.

If '68 or later the NSS stays the same but the BU lights need to be rerouted from the column/console to the Promatic. Doesn't the shifter have a wiring diagram?

1969. It was a 4 speed previously. I did buy the NSS and the harness with the 3 wires off of it, I assume I plug that into the NSS then tag wires on and run 1 to starter relay and the others to the shifter itself?

Again, with the 3-prong NSS in place and wired correctly, no wires need to be attached to the shifter.

The center wire (brown) goes to the "G" terminal on the starter relay....since the car was stick-shift you'll need a starter relay from an automatic car.

The two outer wires are for the BU lights and will attach to the existing firewall plug that the 4-speed harness attached to. (assuming the car originally had BU lights)

If there is a light in the shifter to illuminate the quadrant, it needs to be spliced into any of the dash light wires (usually orange).

Yes. Be sure the trans is '69 or later, you can't just install the 3-prong NSS into an earlier trans...it needs special internals.

Violet wires. Sockets "D" and "G" at the firewall disconnect.

Oops, it's "D" and "C" (I had a small print version). It's on the wiper motor harness, separate from the front light harness.

I am seriously confused on this and I am not sure why. The harness that is soldered to my 3 speed wiper motor has 4 wires on it and that's it. Brown, red, green and blue.
Are they supposed to tie into the other side of the bulkhead inside the car? C and D on the bulkhead are white and white with a black tracer....

those 4 wires are just wiper power and the speeds.You need 2 wires that are black and white.To get reverse lights see the plug your missing that connects to reverse light harness  http://www.passion4mopars.com/assets/images/DSCF1657.JPG C white with black tracer  D white on bulkhead connector backside

 your a  automatic its incorporated into the 3 wire nss switch harness   depending on your set up auto or 4 speed theres a harness includes nss and back up lights

Can I tag into C and D before bulkhead inside the car?
I am feeling stupid on this one.

Seeing as my wiper harness does not have any wires on top row I am going to pull the white wire and the white black tracer wire out of the bulkhead and put wirepack connectors on them and run them to the NSS harness black*/violet. The other one I will wirepack to the "G" on the starter relay.
