Getting to the finishing touches of my 318-440 engine swap on my '73 charger. I was hoping for some suggestions regarding radiators.

Some engine specs:

1967 HP 440
915 heads
crower mild cam
torker manifold
650 edelbrock thunder series carb
10.5:1 compression

727 tranny with a 2500 stall.

Going for a stock look or very modified?

If you are not going for a factory look there are any amount of ebay aluminium radiators that will do the job. Just choose a tig welded one that will mount how you want it to. Considerations to take into account are mounting style, clearance for your fan set up, shroud considerations, inlet outlet orientation. Bigger is always better for cooling but  two rows of 1" tubes on 3/8 spacings should work fine on a mild 440. The key to good cooling is air flow at idle and low speeds - fan set up and well designed shroud. I use a champion 22" with three rows of 3/4 tubes on 3/8 spacings, works great. I only use a 22" because that is what my car came with.

Not too worried about a stock look other than close to proper dimensions. I will take a look at ebay again, I checked it before and was concerned because the prices seemed to vary significantly for relatively similar specs.

I bought this one for my 73' Charger.  Fits good.  Minor trimming to the shroud.  I have not got it running yet so I cant tell you how it performs.  I wanted a downflow and this one was the closest to my original in size.  For the price I couldn't pass it up.  Good luck.
