2 Great NW MOPAR car shows.  8-9-2015, Summer Sizzler at Oak Harbor, WA and 8-16-2015, Tacoma Sunbust in Graham, WA.  Enjoy the pictures as the weather was perfect, the cars were FANTASTIC and new and old friends were met there.

Hey Bob

I don't think I could ever get tired of looking at your rig.  I don't think I remember seeing the A4 Daytona around.  It looks like red interior in it?

I didn't make it up again this year, real bummer.  My buddies told me there were several new & nice rigs there.

Did Sunbust turn out any better this year with them splitting the show up into 2 days?

Is that Troy's old brown 500?  Do you happen to remember if it had a 4 gear behind it?

A383Wing

both 500's are automatic cars, and the silver Daytona has red interior...

I got fender tag pics of all that were there that day

Yep, it was in the process of loosing the fuel pump pushrod. It crapped out completely on I-405 later that day driving home from the show.  More adventure than I really care for.  :rotz:

Don't you love when that happens- oh well, that's an old car for you ;) I brought my Duster down to the Everett show in 2011. On the way home it decided to have a melt down. It got super hot in traffic waiting to cross the border back into Canada. When I got to the booth, the border guard asked me to shut it off because he couldn't hear me properly over the car. I told him if I did it probably wouldn't start because of massive heat soak. Told me to shut it off so I did. Asked me two questions and then told me I could go. Go to start the car and sure enough- wouldn't start.  :RantExplode: Had to push it off to the side and wait 45 minutes for it to cool down before it would restart...

Great pics Bob!!! I ran across a picture of Dave's 500 in my album tonight along with
former NHOA President Pete Haldiman's 66 Hemi Satelite and 70 Hemi Challenger
at our Cypress College Meet in the mid 80's...

Yes, Dave has had the car for a long time.  Thought I was slow, but then there is Dave.  It is great to have it done and in the show again.  TY, for the picture you are the guy who has many many of the early pictures!!!!!

Are you the gentleman that sells vintage automobile photos on ebay + an ebay store?  I seen his location was "Great Pacific Northwest".

All I remember was shipping is $3.00 & you get a nice cardboard sheet & protective cover for any photo.   :2thumbs:

Hey Jim, I posted that pic on our club facebook page so Dave could see it.  He doesn't do message boards.

That's the 500 from MCG. It did have a vinyl top; when and where it was installed is unknown at this point. An owner from 1977 said the vinyl top was shot (faded, torn, rust underneath) by then, and was pulled off shortly thereafter. Fortunatly, they tossed the molding in the trunk.
