They do the same over here as well.

Ghoste

And with the physical effort spent in stealing and stripping it, they could have just as easily done honest work.  Scumbags.  :flame: :brickwall:

 bastards  :yesnod: :flame:  :fireangry:

( stripping for parts ,  normally leads to torching it  destroy evidence finger prints , blood from cut hands etc  , rushing  to take it apart  etc :yesnod:   )   looks pretty much undamaged  from the pictures !!!   lot of difficult parts to find though .    :brickwall:  least he got it back !!   for me that would be the main thing ,  bit of luck the insurance will pay out  the real value & keeps the car , &  build it better than it was before  :yesnod: :coolgleamA:
bummer they cut the core support

My guess is they found the car before it was finished being stripped?

Here they either torch it or cust the entire body into tiny pieces and toss it over cliffs into the river.

yeah might have been found , before they finished the job ,  normally  these sort of extensive strip jobs , bolt by bolt , the cars are loaded up on a covered transporter , taken to a someones work shop  / or warehouse / farm & the cars are taken apart there  , carefully piece by piece , no real rush  , then  loaded up on a transporter , & dumped out in the middle of no where  & torched , depending on location , or cut up  , like Drache said  :yesnod:

Maybe the owner just got tired of his 1st gen and did this so he could get a 2nd gen Charger.

wow..yer kind of an ass for saying that, ain't ya??  :rotz:

the owner did not do this himself....they broke into his trailer and too his car and a lot of tools where this was parked at his place.....

I hope the people are found and prosecuted for this...everyone on Facebook is helping this guy with his car...and watching eBay and Craigslist in the Kansas area

Not about that, man.  Theft is every car enthusiast's worst nightmare.

I can only hope that the car was properly insured...

I Agree, I'm semi doubtful though, as it appears to be back with it's owner...  I personally wouldn't buy a hacked up shell from insurance, even if it did have sentimental value.  :Twocents:

Looking at this 67 charger makes everyone think? Whats the best security you can put on your car?(pride and joy)  GPS recovery (hidden) Mercury switch texting you if the car moves

I wish there was a way to stop thieves from getting anything, not just cars.

wingcar

Wow...I wish you hadn't posted pictures of how it looked before it was stolen.....it almost brought tears to my eyes...it was such a beautiful car, I really feel for the owner......Back in the day they would hang a thief that had stolen a cowboy's transportion, his horse.  Perhaps they should do the same for car thiefs as well.
