Yea I noticed that. Amd rebodyed it and then mark went on to admit he basicly rebodyed another cuda. Funny he turned down my Daytona tho. I'm guessing when he found out I don't have 60k up front is when he decided it can't be restored.

Paying for the restoration is fairly easy. I have a great paying job, but I also have a mortgage and family so I need to make sure everything stays a float. I'm glad he turned it down honestly, that allowed me to buy my 69 charger 500.  I would have liked to have him tell me himself rather than reading his article in Chrysler power to find out. I found that rather rude.

Did you ever find anybody to do the Restoration? Curious. LEON.

i started a facebook account after hearing about mark posting my car on facebook asking people if it can be restored and when i stated i was the owner i got more offer to do restore it than i can remember. Ive been talking with the ex gyc body man derrick and he may end up helping me get it done. i just need to stop buying cars and actually put money towards the daytona, but i have a weakness for aero cars when i got a chance to buy a c500 i went for it.

I'm gonna more than likely sell them. I just sold my 68 rt charger and waiting for it to leave before putting the next one up for sale. I want to give one to my son to build. I'm thinking either the sport satellite of the superbee. I gave my daughter a 71 340 duster factory fc7 so I gotta give him something cool too right?  :2thumbs:

Just watched the episode again where he wouldn't do the Daytona, but would do a relic of a Challenger that was nothing but the inner bracing.  Claims he didn't want to do a rebody. :scratchchin:

I agree, I really like this new/old painter and the new guy they hired too. I like how he fires back at Mark :lol:  :yesnod: I laughed out loud this last episode 3 different times. I think they got the show at a good point now.

I like the show now. lot better than it was. getting to see these cars instead of all chevy all week all the time. I've learned a lot from watching it too. I've love his new shop. it would be a dream job. I've only gotten two questions wrong on the show.

I would leave Mark right where he is....

In my line of work, guys like mark are the norm. If you don't understand that style of humor, you would naturally think he's being a dic*head.....

Been with my business partner for 10 plus years and if you heard us going at it, you would think we were going to pull out knives and start slashing, not saying it's right or wrong, just normal for certain types

I just caught up on Season 5.  What a relief not to have to listen to Josh and and most of all Daren.  The games, whether real or invented, were just cringe-worthy.

Too bad Derrick left, I enjoyed him on the show.  The new guys are great.  Alyssa is the wildcard, but I hope she finds her place.  The dancing is ridiculous, but I can handle the 5 seconds per episode of it.

A great turnaround Mark, the new format/crew/shop is a pleasure to watch!

Mark is good.  Yes he is a little arrogant but he is very willing to teach which I think is admirable. 

Darren was a character and I thought kind of funny.  There was just too much of his shenanagans.

Is it  just me, or has the show not been on for a while. I DVR it, but nothing has recorded since season 4, episode 18. Last new show recorded October 28th?  :shruggy:
