Boy, did that feel great. After a winter of seeing him sit in the garage, I pulled him out to do a little spring cleaning in the garage and couldn't resist a little spin. Somebody even pulled in the driveway to look at him and take pics and he hadn't even been outside for an hour. Made my weekend! :icon_smile_big:

Its not a 69 but its sure fun to drive.

Sorry about no pics bull. I know it's the 21st century, but I still do not own a digital camara. I have been thinking about it though because I want to take pics when I go to the TDC meet for sure. Maybe I will move that purchase up so I can take pics of the second run of the year. :icon_smile_big:

Volk68, That is cool you can drive your car to work. I can't. The place I work wasn't even open for 7 months and one of the guys had his car broken into. :flame: Thus, I don't drive my Charger's to work.

Chargerlady, you put some miles on already. Can't wait til I can put that many miles on my car. Rims look good. :2thumbs:

ChrgrSteve, nice ride. At least they ask what it is and don't assume it's a mustang. :icon_smile_big:

Get you one (or more) of the disposable cameras. You can have just about anyplace make you a photo CD when you get the pictures developed.
Even if you don't get the pics developed right away. Some moments cannot be captured again.

Sorry to hi-jack your thread but you should always keep a camera with you. You never know when you will need one.
A buddy and I got into a car accident and the insurance company really appreciated the fact we were able to take pictures of the accident.
You could also get a used on off of e-bay. 1.3 mega pixel is plenty for putting pictures on the Internet.

Beautiful days are hard to come by lately.
Great pictures of Classic Chargers on beautiful days are even harder to come by.

:Twocents:

Thanks for the great comments everyone.
She still has a lot of work left.
Here is my thread on her continuing progress if you are interested.

Every year I put a new disposable camera in The Colonel.  The only reason I do it, is if I happen to get hit in him, I have a camera to take pictures of the sceen so I can have some good documentation of the accident.

I had the R/T 'vert out for the first top-down cruise of the year this past Friday, on what was an absolutely beautiful spring day in New England... mid '70's, sunny, perfect weather (as opposed to the much needed deluge we are experiencing right now). Also guilty of the no pics taken malady... and I don't even have a good excuse, as I have a digital camera. But it's not the Charger anyway, so....

BTW, ChgrSteve67, love your '67, from a fellow first-gen'r.  :2thumbs:

I have to agree with everyone else. That 67 is bad ass. . . . :drool5:

Colonel's idea of the disposable for accidents is VERY intelligent.  Make sure you take photos of the other driver too cause he'll change his appearance for court and expect you to point him out anyway!

Gorgeous '67!!!

And D, take some danged pictures next time, GOSH!!   :)

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love the yellow bee. You lucky bastard.   :2thumbs:

The Charger also rocks! I bet you get a lot of attention and complements.
I bet the cops also like stopping you.

What size powerplants you hiding?
Never mind, I guess it would help if I opened my eye and read.

General_01

Thanks for the compliments. They look nicer in pics.

The General is sporting a 440 slightly modified with a 727 and the Bee has a stock 383 with a 727. The 440 was in the Bee when I bought it in 1989. I swapped it with the 383 in the General since neither engine was numbers matching. Both vehicles were originally 383, 4-speed cars. I still have both manual tranny's under the workbench in case I decide to put the sticks back in. :icon_smile_big:

ChgrSteve67

If you are going to put a stick back in go with a 5 speed.

I want to take the 4 speed out of mine so bad and install a 5.
The only thing stopping me is money. I have so many other things I should do first.
Mine also looks better in pictures. My paint is really oxidized. I have rubbed a lot out but it still is dull.
The black and red paint job was a bad job done by the previous owner.
I'm hoping new paint will get sprayed next summer.

Owners are always the harshest critics.

General_01

I don't plan on putting the sticks back in any time soon. My left knee don't like driving sticks to much plus it is easier to cruise the strip in an auto. I just keep them in case I ever sell. Sounds kinda dumb but I think it is the pack rat in me. :icon_smile_big:
