Hi Everyone,

I have a question, I got my Charger about 3 weeks ago after spending another 3 weeks at the shop getting the vinyl top redone, it blew off after we drove it off the lot where we bought it. Glad we had to redo it cause I didn't like it. I knew from the start it was a cheap material. Driving it from the shop, I was driving behind my husband and noticed he had no brake lights. I my self checked the bulbs and they are good. Turn signals don't work either.

Before checking the brake switch, I wanted to check the fuses but I have no clue where its located. I looked under the hood and I have no clue either. I'm used to modern cars...LOL! This is our first classic and we haven't really enjoyed the car. We live in Miami, Fl. and driving in heavy traffic with no brake lights will get us rear ended.

Anyways...If anyone has any answers has to why brakes and signals don't work, I would really appreciate it.

Thank you all in advance.

Here are a few pics I took with the new vinyl top and some of the interior.

HI,

Welcome to the group. The fuses should be under the dash on the drivers side.

One very common issue involving brake lights and directional is a bad turn signal switch which is located under the steering wheel. You have to pull the steering wheel off to get at it. The switches are still available from Chrysler.

There should be a wire harness coming down under a cover on the steering column. Makes sure the connector on the end of that harness is plugged in, it's a thin rectangular connector.

Good luck!

Thank you!!

I did check under the steering wheel and noticed a pink and white cable. I saw the connector and one of those cables plugged in, it seemed a bit loose to me, I will double check. Thanks for letting me know where fuse box is.
