I removed the splash shield on the passenger side near the firewall, it's thick rubber but mine has a small tear on the bottom near the h ole and it's covered in paint.  The driver side splash shield behind the brake lines is missing.  I think these are the ones to get but I wanted to confirm with the experts here.

I also need the rubber piece that goes on the starter shield.  Mine was half gone so I removed the rest of it.  Looks to be this one so what kinda stapler do I need to get these stainless steel staples in place?  The original staples are still on the starter shield.  The auction mentions that this comes with a drill bit so does that mean I have to enlarge the stock holes?  I'm confused...

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

yep the looks like the stuff you need   ,    not sure on the staples , may be they are smaller or bigger than the originals   ,  with out actually seeing it in real life  , if your not worried about it being original , may be use very small pan head screws with a machine thread & a nut  , or tiny rivits ,  :shruggy:    just a thought   , are your original staples rotted ,  any chance opening them up & reusing them ? , if the DMT ones are the wrong size ,   I forget what they look like  & how they are attached   , so I might be talking crap  :icon_smile_blackeye:
