Saw this on Facebook earlier this evening....  Supposedly, there were two other thefts of classic muscle cars as well.  Very sad.....

They should cut their hands off if they catch the thiefs.

Something that has always terrified me about attending 2 day shows that are out of town. Got to the point the wife would get the hotel room and I would sleep in the back seat of the car. Large shows gather organized crime no matter where and they look for easy prey.

Be careful man.  Your car is replaceable but you aren't.  At least tell me you're sleeping with Miss Mossberg or Miss Sig Sauer or something similar while you're on guard duty in that backseat.

In any case, I would like to think that the Pizza Camaro had gps or something similar on it...

seems odd to me that pizza mans car is stolen....kinda like a iphone 8 leak and all the hype is around iphones.  Pizza sales will spike because of this......

That's great news.  But I gotta wonder.  What sort of theft-deterrence was in these cars, if any at all?  Like the article says, older cars don't come with anti-theft devices.  Classic car owners need to be smart and proactive about this matter...

So the pizza guy can find his long lost Camaro twice, once after he sells it, & again after it's stolen, but still can't find a recipe for real pizza.

That is a very astute observation.

The statement from Papa johns said that the "beloved REPLICA" was recovered. I bet he keeps the real one at home. He had a replica built before he found his original. And, Hey, I like Papa John's pizza.  :o

All the fuss over a replica.   Probably dreamed up by some PR wank.  "Leave the keys in the truck.   The rig gets stolen.   We get lots of free PR nationally.   Winning!"

Yeah well I'm sure the owners of the stolen Vette and Chevelle don't feel that way... :-\
