Master cyl pushrod stuck?

How the hell do I get the pushrod out of my drum brake master cylinder so I can swap it to my manual disc brake master. ?

it's just held in by a small piece of rubber hose on the end. Put the  master cylinder with rod in a vise clamping on the rod and master cylinder pointing straight up. Leave about a 1/4" space between the flat mounting part of the master and your vice jaws. Then get a couple large screwdrivers and put in gap between master and vise and pry the master up off the rod, make sure the rod is clamped tight in vise, it might take some effort to pop it off..the plunger plug may come out instead, if it does, then just pry up the plunger piston off the rod
