Old trade ad.   Pretty cool.

The original scale model kit by MPC had the option of using the body for a shot car (you had to supply the actual shot car parts).   (Also, had the option/parts to build a spy car...The Man from U.N.C.L.E. TV series used a Charger in a couple of their episodes).
1970 Daytona Charger SE "clone" (440/Auto)
1967 Charger (360,6-pak/Auto)
2008 Challenger SRT8 BLK (6.1/Auto) 6050 of 6400

I had 6 of them, 3 being nos in the box.
Rarest color combo is gray outside and a Petty Blue interior.   :2thumbs:

MPC slot cars were based on the companies promo cars. (hood molded in)
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

Wow, that '66 has front brakes, slightly ahead of it's time I'd say.

Slight hijack.

Anyone remember those Scat Pack drag strips with '70 Challengers slot cars?  They were 4 speeds & you had to shift at certain places along the track?  The box it came in had a Marlboro cig. lookin' dude with his hand on the big ol' pistol grip, real '70's looking colors.

I had one as a kid.
