How do you add a GIF to your signature?

Im trying to add a GIF to my signature and when I try to add it shows up as a clickable link not a GIF.
Please help me on trying to do this

I've done this before.  Insert your link in between [img] brackets.  On the 2nd [img], insert an / before the i.

As in (IMG]image link(/img]  .  ( has been used as a substitute for [ for example purposes. Otherwise the forum would see it as an image link and you would not see the example
