There is a Facebook page called "Ratty Mopar Muscle". I guess some guy who owns a wrecking yard posted some pics of a Superbird in his yard and talks about dragging it out and painting it. Then foisting it up on a pole as a sign to promote his business. People were commenting that it wasn't a real bird so it was okay. But I hope it was a joke cause it sure looks real to me. It is also posted on the "Mopar Muscle" page.

With the pics so far looks pretty real to me.  Be nice to see wing washers, F-tag & VIN?

I see the holes are in the windshield pillars for the chrome

One guy commented that Superbirds did not come with side moldings so it can't be real. :slap:

:iagree:

It would be very unusual for an old clone to be built with a real steel window plug.

I agree. I even see the two screw holes in the A-pillar for the deflectors. I'm sure no one "cloned" those........

Even if its a clone it appears to have real parts and doesn't deserve to be stuck up on a sign pole like some old Impala.

looks to have a standard 70 roadrunner bulge hood if you look close to the right of the hood in the original post on facebook , I bet it has a standard front clip on it. It does appear to be a real Superbird by the looks of everything else I see.  :shruggy:

Stop complaining about what he's doing to the car and go buy it from him.  If he's gonna let it rot or stick it on a pole then it probably wouldn't make much to get it.

I was going to post a pic of the "Viper High in the Sky" of Audubon Chrysler's  96 Viper on a pole (which is still there & is a small part of the links read) but didn't find one on short notice. Jim Verney "Ernest" used to do commercials for them.  And I was just by there last Sat.,  and of all things, pulled in behind the dealership!... to find a business card in my billfold and thought about a pic of the viper but didn't take it ::) :scratchchin: :brickwall: :icon_smile_blackeye:  Want make that mistake again.

Happen to be going by again today on a cruise with some buddy's so I stopped fer a pic on the way back. Roughly 8 miles north of Zack's old place.

As cool as it might be to see a Bird on a pole,...I'd rather see a Bird on a road.

What's the latest on the pole Bird?

Tell him I'll trade him an unfinished clone for that "not a real superbird even though it really is" lol
