Would Power steering be standard on a 69 r/t or still an extra option ?

Power steering and/or power brakes were both an option, as far as I know, on a '69 R/T.  My Charger R/T had power steering but no power brakes.

Power steering, power brakes, sure-grip, radio, etc. were all OPTIONS - a NO OPTION base Charger R/T would be a pretty RARE find.  The average 1969 Charger had ~$1000 worth of OPTIONS.  :coolgleamA:

* the $466 up-charge for a R/T over the base 1969 V8 Charger was for components to support the 440HP & a few emblems (NO additional creature comforts were STANDARD)

yep Chrysler , were crazy imo with options  , still all to make money I suppose ,    mine is a R/T SE  but very few options considering what it is imo  ,  has power steering  , but manual drums  :scratchchin:

My R/T SE is pwr strg and pwr brakes(drum) which do work very well as long as maintained adjusted.

Seems Chrysler had the potential for some very goofy combo's the way the options worked ?
