I recently started a thread called new member which is me introducing myself. So i thought i would dedication a topic just to my build. The base of my build is a roadrunner that i will convert in to a superbird. When i bought the car it came with the nose, hood extension,Headlight buckets and bins full of other parts. The car was sand blaster and primered before i bought it. Also the car didn't even roll either so i knew i was in for a lot. Since this is my first time building a car i would greatly appreciate any tips and your input on it. I will post a picture of how i got the car and another of the work i have done this weekend. If i make any mistakes feel more that free to correct me.

Daytona R/T SE

Did you buy that car from a guy named Moe in the St. Louis area ?

If so, I looked at that car at the Gateway swapmeet a few months ago.

It looked like a good starting point for a project.  :2thumbs:

It's got to be the same car.  :yesnod:

The angle iron front suspension was a dead giveaway.  ;)

Good deal.  :coolgleamA:

I'm glad someone took this project on.

I stared at it for quite awhile...  :scope:

But...

With my Daytona clone I'm (not) currently working on... :brickwall:

And the other six Chargers waiting their turn... :scratchchin:

I really didn't need another one... :rotz:

But...

I sure thought about it.  :2thumbs:

Welcome, Matthew!  It does look like a fair bit of work, but the amount of useful helpful advise you're going to get from everyone here will ease the burden.   :2thumbs:

Good luck, and be sure to keep us posted!
