okay im new to the group and i was routed here from a person on moparts.com anyway i have a charger i parted out when i was younger and know. I think im going to restore it its a plane jane 1970 dodge charger 500 318 car its going to need  a full floor rear frame rails and both qarters and a rear tail panel my thought is whats the diffrence  some cuts one up to make a race car or i fix this one, some people are like well your never gonna get you money back outta it and i really disagree and i really dont care about the re sale if these cars were worth 200.00 id want one. I have a 1965 plymouth fury i restored and helped on a 68 mustang almost as bad as my charger becaue how many are gonna be around in another 10 years unless dynacorn starts making bodies like they should.

Check out what this guy has done if you need inspiration. This is most extensive remove and replace restoration I have ever seen. There does not seem to be a part that Don has not worked on to some degree.

Since it's missing so many original parts, I'd suggest putting '69 fenders, hood, grill, etc. on it.

The '69 stuff is availabe new.

The '70 parts are not made new and are difficult to find.  :Twocents:

:iagree:

Depending on what shape they are in the 70 front clip could be worth a bit of change to someone restoring a 70 or building a Daytona clone.

He said he had parted the car out at one point....

So I'm guessing they're long gone. :Twocents:

Yea the 70,stuff is long gone I really didn't think I'd do this car but after looking for two months at everyone else's junk I could find it was way outta my price range or not a lot better then mine mine looks worse cause I cut the tail panel off wish I.could go back and tell.myself not to part that car out oh well
