4 gang power window switch operation

I finished rebuilding my power window motors and regulators and hooked everything up outside the car to make sure everything works, which it does, however...I'm not sure which button on the 4 gang switch is supposed to operate which regulator.  Looking at the wiring diagram it's either correct or I have it backwards.  So when sitting in the car looking at the switch, which button is supposed to operate which window?

From fading memory, counting from forward most (1) switch to most aft switch (4):
(1) Driver door window (left door window)
(2) Passenger door window (right door window)
(3) Driver's side passenger rear window (left rear window)
(4) Passenger side rear window (right rear window)

Thanks!  Now to be clear, with most forward switch do you mean the far left switch or the far right switch when looking at the door panel?  My driver side door window is operated by the switch on the far left.  The order then follows with passenger side door, driver side rear, and passenger side rear being the far right switch.

I thought it had to be the other way round...

Most forward=Far right (the switch button that is closest to the dash when the door is closed.

Yes, it sounds like you have it flipped backwards.

Do you have access to page 8-101 from a 1970 Charger / Coronet manual? I know that 1969 and 1970 Chrysler 4 door sedans with power windows are wired the same. So, I would expect 1969 and 1970 Charger power windows to be wired the same.

I don't have that manual but will look for it.  I have the 69 Charger manual but I can't find that particular info in it.

I didn't think I could wire the switch backwards with the ground being where it is, but it won't take anything to rearrange the wires anyway.

I'll look for that manual and see what it says.  It may be a detail and regardless all the windows will go up and down, but it would be nice to have it work as the factory intended.   :2thumbs:

By the way, the wiring loom came out of a C-body.   :yesnod:

Hmmm that's what I have and that's how I wired it...I don't get it...

Oh well, I'll swap the wires and it'll work as it should.  Thanks Delta!
