That's why there's only one kind of pussy allowed around my cars! That and I painted my 'Bee stripe in '89 and clear coated in the decals.

This a clear way to identify your car if there is any question. A finger print if you will.  Not many will give you the thumbs down for that. If they do --move on.

Years ago my son put a very small chip in the paint on my C500 with his bicycle. He was devastated for a long time. My efforts to tell him all was well because it was accidental took time to settle in with him. That chip is so small that I sometimes have to really look for it, and when I find it I just smile. It's part of the car like everything else I did to it.

Do you have any full pics of your car, that copper color with a white stripe is an awesome combo!

Awww man  :rotz:

This is why, personally i don't want a nice car, time will take its toll again  :pity:

I got over it (for the most part), pretty quick.  They are stickers/decals after all, and in about an hour I could replace them.

The car gets driven, and after the incident when my wife drove it over fresh tar/gravel on a 85* day.....well, I try to keep things in perspective.   :icon_smile_blackeye:

I'll just call the car Cindy.   (Really, did anyone care about that mole....)

That's one of my big frustrations with parking a car outside in this house, neighborhood cats roam, and I keep finding sandy paw prints up the hood, up the glass, and down the trunk.  Haven't caught the perpetrator yet, as the neighbor on that side has no cats, and two larger dogs, so surprised to find them still.  Previous neighbor had cats, couldn't keep em off the cars. So I have to keep anything nice inside...that still doesn't stop one, who will enter an open garage door to climb up my challenger to sit on top.  I own no cats, so why do they pick me?

I've had a cat or raccoon mark my car up pretty good as well...   :flame:  Silver lining; you can see where they slipped and fell off your car  :yesnod:

The ones that bother(ed) me the most are the self inflicted ones.  I have had one on each car unfortunately. Stupidly backing into something, TWICE!
The 73 buffed out with no problem but the 67 had to go to the shop.

Ghoste

I've inflicted some scratches over the years to my own cars too.

All damage to my car happened in the garage...maybe I should leave it outside...
