A local guy here in Phoenix asked me to pass the word around that he is putting both of his cars up for sale. He gave me a little info about each. I suggested he get them both on the internet.

The 1968 GTX is a restored car, very nicely done, I have seen the car but I don't have any pics. Asking $65,000

70 Superbird 440 6BBL fully restored. Although NOM, it is period correct engine rebuilt to stock 6BBL spec. I had this pic from our last HEMI Show. Asking $175000.

Looks nice in B5!! I always wonder why so many birds have the headlights pop up when parked. Mine don't come up unless I turn the lights on.  :shruggy:

What color & what options?

Frank owns the cars, looking at my note from last night he is asking $65000, sorry about that. Called him today, he told me the GTX is B5 Jamaica blue. 440 Super Commando, 727, PS, manual drum brakes, It has an aluminum intake on the car but the the original intake goes with. Bucket seats with console, it has the black stripe, and some chrome accents. He does not have any digital pictures of this one. If you are interested I can go take some.

Sounds like something I could see myself in, but I guess it's best to save myself from myself and decline.      :scratchchin:

I can't believe that my residual vacuum holds my lights closed, for over 10 years, without running...  :scratchchin:

wingcar

Back in the day I had an issue with my headlights staying completely open while at speed...they would shake a bit.  They functioned fine, just balanced a bit at times.  I replaced the vacuum lines and the problem went away.  I find a small pin hole in one line that was allowing air to escape.

As a side note I had more than one person tell me they thought I was a cop signaling them to pull over it looked as if I was signalling with my lights and they said they saw the shadow of the rear wing crossover and thought it was a light bar.....(I wondered at the time why so many people moved out of my way at night)...LOL
