New repo 4 piston Bendix calipers ?

Thought that I seen somewhere , maybe MCG , that there are brand new repo 4 piston calipers for the 66-69 Bendix disc brake cars ? Anyone seen these and where ?

I got mine from O Reilly's auto parts

PAID for them, but not much more than if i had sent mine out to be rebuilt

You got rebuilt ones , most likely A1 Cardone . I'm talking about brand new , not rebuilt , checked my back issues , now I can't find where I saw it , but def saw a pic and description saying " brand new repo 4 piston calipers " .

Yea but how does that compare to the cost aftermarket upgraded systems per caliper? Yea, I know that's just replacing the caliper isn't the whole cost but I have drums up front so it's basically a complete system anyway.   Thinking of upgrading...

Thanks !!!! Knew I seen them somewhere ( but could swear it was in MCG one month) . Did do a search though at Year one , but didn't come up with them . Will def try them for that price , since the people that rebuilt/resleeved mine , they leaked basically right away !!!!

If you are upgrading from drums I dont know that the Bendix system is the one I would do anyway Bakerhillpins.  It wasn't the greatest disc brake setup when it was new so even if the cost was the same or even slightly less than a modern system, the new one would likely be smarter.  Putting the antique on might be something someone like me would do but probably not.  If I had an existing one I'd try and keep it all working.  On my own car its an aftermarket disc in the frotn but even trying to be a purist I dont see chagning it for a heavy leak prone old Bendix.
Now those Corvette booster and master cylinders on the other hand...

Hopefully these repo calipers are designed to be better ( trouble free) . When the system was working , I thought it worked great , very touchy though !!!

I just ordered a set from Yearone for $200 with todays discount and free shipping. Makes no sence to refurbish my originals for that kinda money.
