What a great story. Thank you for that.  Makes me kind-of sad to remember that lots of guys didn't come home to the cars they stored.  I remember how different summer nights were in '69-70. Before that, the local park was the hangout for those kids and their cars. It was never quite the same after that.

While not a fan of the "76" and other painted additions....I am very glad they didn't restore it back to stock....
