I was looking to install headers on 1966 charger.I have a 1977 440 motor and was looking for the least expensive that actually fit. I picked up a set of big tube headers at a swap meet a while back, would not clear shock tower.Any suggestions?

Spend the money and increase the chances of your header tubes clearing, as well as prolonging their longetivity.  At least, that's what I've learned on here and in other car forums as well.

The least expensive that "actually fit" are probably going to be one of the higher priced sets.  You get what you pay for in this instance I think.

Yup.  For my car I came to realize I had two choices: Doug's or TTi, starting at $700 for the cheapest ceramic coated set from Doug's.  I'm hoping they fit... :shruggy:

Oh you're probably gonna need a mini starter too....
