My searching came up empty to see if this had been posted before. It shows a younger Mike Brewer from before the current Wheeler Dealers tv show.

10-12k pounds for an RT? think he's living in the 90s or even earlier.  I believe the video is a bit dated though.

Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

Says this show was on TV between 1997 and 2001

Going through our old VHS tapes we came across this gem. Deals on Wheels was a Channel 4 series which ran from 1997 to 2001, with Mike Brewer and Richard Sutton. This extract features advice on buying a Dodge Charger and was filmed in and around the RPM workshop in Aldershot and used three of our customers' cars. You would have thought that we would have got a free plug, but no chance. Cheers Channel 4.

that's what I noticed, his more recent shows indicate he'd put on weight since these were taken.

myk

I'd say really late 90's and just before 2001, for those prices...
