RV Rental: family trip

Hey gang...
OK, so my wife just texted me and asked if I would be up for a family vacation in a RV. I'm game for it, but have never done it.. I think she's more into the traveling aspect of it with the kids being able to sit at a table, her to roam around the RV instead of fixed in a seat in our truck. Are there any particular companies to stay away from? more to go to? What questions on coverage, insurance and roadside assistance should I ask, etc....
