Question about rear lower control arm (spring link/perch)

Hey everyone

I have a 2007 Dodge Charger, and I've been experiencing an ugly creaking/squeaking that people outside can hear when I'm driving.  The local mechanic shop said it's my lower control arm in the rear, or also known as the spring link.

A new one of these from the dealership is $300.  Plus, I would have to buy one of the bushings separately.   I'm thinking maybe if I just change the bushings on each end of the control arm, that's all I need to do.

My question is:  how easy/hard is it to replace just the bushing (or ball joint) on the other end of the control arm? (the one circled on the right side in the picture)

Just trying to figure out what to do here. Any advice/opinions would be very appreciated. Thanks!
