I recently had my 69's a/c box restored and went with all new a/c evaporator and a/c dual heater cores. So I'm just wondering if the old parts are worth anything or should I just junk them? They are in decent shape so what (if any) would the value be if I tried to sell them? I figure the bypass valve is worth something so I wouldn't toss that.   :shruggy:

I can post pics of them but just want to see if it is even worth it to try to sell?

If the evaporator doesn't leak, there is nothing wrong with it. It doesn't have fluid in it so really there is nothing to go wrong except popping a hole. Clean it up and keep or sell it.
I was going to replace mine in the 73 but I couldn't find one. My wrench cleaned mine and said it is fine, so in there it sits.
It's not like the heater core(s) that have coolant in them. They get corroded from the fluid.  Those are probably toss-able. Especially since they are readily available at a parts store.

Thanks ODZKing   :2thumbs:  No leaks on the a/c core but it does have a slightly tweaked tube where the expansion valve screwed on. I always figured most people would go for new ones but I'll throw them in the for sale section and see if there are any takers.  :2thumbs:

Did you list either of these?
Thanks Dave

I listed them locally and found a buyer within a couple days.

That's pretty quick.  I've had some laying around trying to sell or piece out before scrapping out for copper and got no interest.
