 well hold on a second.  Let's see what Dino's got for a car.

Skippy may want a 69 more than a 72 though.   

Besides I'm housebroken...for the most part.

Before Skip decides, we'll start with a thorough check of the undercarriage, look for cracks, splits, bends, and holes that don't belong.  Then we'll do a test drive to check for reliability, performance, and overall feel until satisfied.

Oh yeah and we'll check out the cars as well.

So, after a quick 6 a.m. hose job...

I put a battery in it and gave it a whirl...

Not sure if it was locked up or not after sitting in the same spot for 14 years...

I was thrilled when the old 318 spun right over.

A quick shot of ether down the carburetor and a crank of the key produced a short lived rumble out of the tailpipes.

Hmmm...

Sounds promising.  

I'll bet the tank is dry.

So, after dumping some gas in the tank...

And priming the carburetor and restarting the damned thing 142 + times...


It didn't die.  

It stayed running.  

And idled.  

Hmmm...

I revved it up a couple of times and then I stuck it in drive...


It moved.
