Hi, I have a 68 Charger that I am considering selling. It has the entire Hotchkis TVS system (new), new fast ratio pitman and idler, new firm feel stage 3 box, new Boss 338 wheels (18x8 and 18x9.5) with Nitto NT 555 rubber, new Legendary Pearl White Rally Seats, new carpet, new dual exhaust. Great driver, paint is ok. Small amount of bubbling on lower passenger quarter (just behind the door).  It's an original A/C car, but the parts under the hood are missing. Original 383 Auto, Edelbrock intake, Holley 750. $30,000.00.

It looks nice! My favorite colors and upgrades. No one can answer you in this section of the site though. If you're definitely selling this is the right place but, if you just want an idea of what your car is worth, then I can move this thread elsewhere.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

krigel

Sure, please move this to the right spot. Thanks.

Nice car.     I think you're priced accordingly.  I'd expect you to get no less than $26k-$27k.   :Twocents:

I think you are aiming a little low at $30k- looks like a very nice car. I would start at 35-36, wouldn't take less than 30 if I was selling it.

krigel

I tried it at 30 on Ebay earlier this year...couldn't get a bite close. I know being in Canada is a bit of a problem, but I could get it to the border without a hassle. If anyone on here is interested, I'm open to offers. I'm not convinced I'd sell it, but if the right money came along....

Wow really? No bites on ebay at 30k? That seems a bit odd.  Nice car you have there.  :yesnod:

Thanks...I find ebay to be about 5000 under where the market really is.

I figure it be over on ebay....

change the rims out!!!!!!

Being serious here for a moment you be surprised how much people will bid based on RIMS you have on it alone.  Flashy rims like that don't sell, I was even told by a dumbass he didn't know how to change rims out, but can build a engine, rear ends, etc, but when it comes to rims he does not know how to change them out so he offered me 5k for my 68k .  :icon_smile_big:

krigel, I passed this info. along to my buddy.  Apparently he seen it on ebay.   He said he's gonna look at a car tomorrow with intentions to buy & if he doesn't he'll take a closer look at yours.   :shruggy:  I know he's talkied about getting a '68 for years.

WOW what paint code is that?  I am thinking of using viper red (PRN) is why I ask.  Car looks awesome, if I wasn't almost ready for paint I would be checking into this one!   :2thumbs:

Hi, thanks for the advice on the rims. The paint is a bright red. The original paint is Charger Red 331. A little more orange than the colour that's on the car right now.
