Best shock for the ride / money ?

My 2012 Ram 1500 Laramie crew cab is just about to hit 50,000 miles. I've noticed the front end seems to be bouncing all over the place particularly on the highway at highway speeds and also whenever I hit a bump.  My guess is that it is in need of new front shocks.  What would everyone recommend for a good stock height shock?  I was thinking about Bilsteins ?

What is everyones thoughts?

Yep. Bilstiens is what I'd put on.
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

Charger-bodie,

I heard that the Bilsteins could give the vehicle a harder ride than stock shocks.  Have you heard anything like that?  It was only a couple reviews in a Ram forum that said about that but it also didn't say if it was the stock application or a lifted / modified shock.

:iagree:  Hands down best bang for the buck.  Had these on my Challenger and saving to put them on the Charger and Cuda.

I had a Silverado z71 that came with Bilsteins and when I bought it ,it needed new shocks. So I got some from gm
. They were delco. It,road like crap. Got a new set of four Bilsteins .it road cherry after that.

which model billsteins is everyone running?  Silver (which I think are adjustable) or the yellow ?

I've been sticking Bilsteins on every truck I have. I am planning adjustables for the next one.

Wow, I have 174K on my '04 1500 Quad Cab still riding on factory shocks.  ;D

Maybe I'm just used to the ride. LOL. Are the Bilsteins good for towing?

I have yellow Bilsteins from the factory on my 2006 Tundra.  105K so far.
