Hi Guys, I'm already accumulating a wealth of knowledge from reading through the forums - Thanks in Advance! This is going to be my first ever Dodge Charger build. I plan to build it as a resto-mod with modern SRT Engine and Suspension / Brakes while maintaining old school look and feel. I live in Sydney Australia, and only got the car last week. It's going to be in storage for the next 6 months while I start prepping my resto area in my Factory and start documenting all the parts needed to for the build. WISH ME LUCK - It's a long road ahead. :popcrn:

Yeah for sure bud.... she needs a new roof skin for sure.... and floors in cabin and trunk... new wheel arches and few other bits but I wont know until shes fully media blasted and we will see what metal Im left with. It's gonna be a full rotisserie restore... Im just scared about the Aussie Dollar falling against the U.S. and how much all these panels and upgrade bits are gonna cost to get over here!

Yes, the dollar is a real problem at the moment. I have had to hold off on a few purchases lately but fortunately they are not essential.

Have you seen this? It's been for sale for quite a few months now:

Yeah I have seen just about anything charger related for sale in Aus. All junk. We should round up some owners and fill up a container over there for a group buy. Save heaps on shipping and I have the contacts.

Welcome from Perth. Looks like a bit of a project there. Are you doing most of the panel work yourself? You will probably find a few guys around Sydney that are bringing parts in all the time. Try some of the car clubs as well. Is that an RX3 project I see in the background as well?
