Forgive me here..... but I find that hilarious !  

Is it just me ?
or is putting the Broadcast Sheet up for the WRONG Car.....  when advertising one ownership lineage with full and complete documentation since new ? and you are supposed to be a classic car dealership like "charvetclassics" with an all glitzy Ebay ad ....... is that not one of those "priceless" moments ?

They may very well think that's the correct sheet for the car. The correct one may still be in there, many cars off the line got extra paperwork stuffed into them that may have belonged to the car ahead or behind on the line. But yes the dealer selling should have some idea when the VIN doesn't match the tag or sales window sticker. It's not like trying to match a tag sequence and build sheet sequence number on a Lynch Rd Car.

No kidding. At least make mention of it or something..."factory put wrong broadcast sheet in car".....or something like that. The ad mentions "White Hat" options. I thought "White Hat" special cars meant the car had a white vinyl top?  Or did it just mean it came with a vinyl top?

I couldn't help it..... so I phoned the guy.
THAT is the Broadcast Sheet that came with the folder on the car... supposedly found years ago under the rear seat. So who knows, maybe the wrong sheet got put in the wrong car at the factory ?
Anyways,
the reserve on the Charger is $24K for anybody who is interested.

Wrong sheets ended up in the wrong car very frequently, especially if they were tucked in seats.  The sheets were only to instruct you what went in that car, they had nothing to do with preserving a heritage for the future so if you had six cars in a row that all had a black vinyl interior it didn't matter which black vinyl rear seat cushion you grabbed for the car as long as the color and material were right.  (and sometimes they didn't even care about that)

White hat special was just what the option package was called ,it could be had with any available color top. I think the ad guys would just keeping with the "good guys in white hats" slogan.

Happin to my uncles 69 GTO he orderd black interior but showed up at the dealer with white interior

Having the original window sticker is a beautiful thing....just as good as a Broadcast sheet to me.....if given the choice - I would take the window sticker
