Looking for a not too expensive but decent set of tires for our 04 Stratus R/T.
I want a sporty look which I guess is most important if you know what I mean. Not the big buldgy but flat sidewall similar to what is on it now.
Goodyear Eagle GTs.
Looking around I found these GT Radial tires. Quite inexpensive but look great I thought. I read the reviews and other than tread wear they all say they are a good tire for the price. All except the 2 idiots that hate them because they say this "summer tire" sucked in the snow. Ugh!
I wouldn't expect a 50,000 mile tire for the price but they seem OK. Reviews you can't always believe because many time folks who hate them will write a review where a person who is simply satisfied will not. Or nothing to stop the manufacturer from writing a glowing report either.
Anyway, anyone had any experiences with these tires?

They may be just fine in good weather.    I would not expect that tread pattern would be very good in snow.   The link you posted describes them as "summer performance tire".   They are not an all season tire.   If you live where it snows and do not have a second set of ice tires,  I would say you need to keep looking.

The tire man I trust suggested a Hankook  Ventus V2, Concept 2 for your car.   $86 at Tire Rack.   Says they are a decent tire and a good value for the money.

The car will never be driven in the snow, should have mentioned that.
The last set on my previous R/T were the Ventus, I was very happy with them.
Thanks
