Is it me or does anyone else ever wonder what ever happened to their old car that they sold. In 2006, I sold a 68 383 charger and it was damn near complete minus the fenders and hood is there a  of finding out whether or not it's alive and well on the street?

66FBCharger

Yes. I often wonder what happened to my '74 Challenger Rallye. I sold it in '85. It was a running driving complete car. The guy who bought it, was buying it for his girlfriend and was going to paint it pink.
Never saw it again, anywhere.

I don't know if there is a 68 registry up and running yet, but if there is and you know the VIN you can see if it is in there. My brother had a 70 RT that was in pieces and needed a complete restoration when he sold it in the late 90's. Don from the 1970 registry hit me up couple of years ago when it turned up on eBay. Here it is all restored: http://sparkysmachines.com/70Charger.html.

It was pretty awesome to see that it survived and was restored. Hope you can find yours as well.

I never experienced that problem, as I have kept every vehicle that I intended on keeping, including my first car (Challenger T/A purchased at 16 yrs old) from the 70's on up

thats cool mike!  I'm so glad you were able to find your brothers charger that thing looks sweet that's interesting to know that it is saved and back on the street

I too amd looking for my original 1969 R/T.

problem is no VIN number.  I'm still trying and a lot of folks here have tried to help me, but it boils down to having that VIN, AND LUCK  :icon_smile_big:

And heavy on the luck.  (even with the VIN)

I sometimes wonder what became of the 69 I sold 5 years ago.  Not that I want it back, just curious.
