Ever seen wings in the dirt? I've ever only seen one ( John Soares Jr.)  here is a pic posted by Gary Larson on facebook from Portland 1970 with Ray Elder and Dick Bown sporting wings but stock noses. I asked Par Elder last night if she had any photos from this race sadly, she said no but remembers it.





Here is a photo John Soares gave me playing in the dirt. Believe it is at Saugus. unfortunately Mr.Soares asked that I don't post any of his photos from his photo album to the internet because they are not watermarked other than this one.
