Would like to get a window sticker done up for my 'Bird.

Thanks immensely!   That thread it great as well. So far I've even learned O. R. Mitchel as listed on the Maxwell list at 1130 Broadway was their Dodge dealership. Chrysler / Plymouth was at 2800. Lots to read and get me through the night so I can ignore the reality crap on TV behind me that the daughter is watching!

Well that story on the sellers daughter needing heart surgery really hits home... 30 year old daughter behind me is 6 years into a rare Sarcoma battle, currently on a drug that's costing us $8600 US a month for 120 pills. Why I'm cleaning up the 'Bird, just in case I have to let it go when the bank account bottoms out.

I have approximately (70) more ads from Texas that I've not had time to post. Probably won't get to it until this Fall or Winter. But I can look through them real quick to see if any match your 'Bird.

I see your pic to the left is of a Lemon-Twist, is that the color I'm searching? Also 4, 6, or 8 barrel? Some of the ads include lots of detail.

Yes, RM23U0A170221 was sold new at O.R. Mitchell Chrysler Plymouth in San Antonio, Texas which is about 300 miles from Grand Prairie, Texas

One nearby Arlington, Texas dealership advertised in the Grand Prairie newspaper fairly often:

If the car was sold at O.R. Mitchell, I only have a few from that dealership. Probably both advertising the same car as they're only months apart.  This is the latest, from January 2, 1971.

Thanks guys! Mid-City may sound more logical for mine.

My car is supposed to be EW1 Alpine White, but someone decided it had more "pop" in yellow ...sometime before I bought it in 1989.

Do you happen to have an address and Zip for Mid-City back in the day. They don't seem to be in business anymore (I found Holt in Arlington) but an old dealership address would be nice.

They seem to be gone, but I've come up with a few spots on the web that say

Looking through my Texas ads, I didn't find any that mentioned Alpine White or Mid-Town Chrysler.

MID-CITY's address from the early '70s - looks like ZIP code also changed in 45 years - building is still standing

Unfortunately all I have is the Texas title transfer in 1975 and the broadcast sheet, no other paperwork. Now that said since hanging out here I've learned that a Texas licence plate stays with the car.. and it's on the title, so maybe I can research the plate?

Okay thanks... I see those adverts are from late '70 when they were moving to the new facility. Bird would have been on their lot end of Nov, early December of 1969, if indeed that is where it was sold.

All of those ads are from 1970 & 1971.  By the end of September 1970, they were moved into their new location.
