Nice car... Love them 'Birds....  and to think, bench seat too.... For some silly reason, they are more comfortable to me. Is it me or my imagination?

Shouldn't the tags first line sequence number match the sequence number on it's build sheet? Not 87 numbers different? Not saying it's wrong, just asking a question to those more knowledgeable,  but other cars I've seen that were billed as being original these numbers match?

EDITED to add... I've just looked at a few other pictures of sets of tag / build sheet pairs that I've collected over the years and I have matching sequence numbers, this one at 87 different, another at 133 different and one I thought was matching but the last numbers are 86 on the bsheet and 68 on the tag. Either a dyslexic tag stamper or they're not supposed to match.

I can't just go and look at mine... as my fender tag grew legs when the car was hit in the left front fender somewhere in it's life. Thankfully I have 2 build sheets, door VIN label and body stampings.

And as for Troy... I LOVE the bench seat in the front of my 'Bee, hate the buckets in my 'Bird!
